"Thistle-Down" is the only holiday hire boat operating from Linlithgow. She is a comfortable, four berth, steel narrow boat built for use on canals and fitted out in a manner ideally suited to a canal based holiday - fully equipped with a full sized refrigerator, oven, four top burners, separate grill, comfortable upholstery and colour TV. All necessary cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery and dishtowels are provided. There is gas fired central heating and hot water, a shower, and fresh water flushing toilet. The berths can be two single and one double or two doubles. All bedding is provided. The engine is a quiet, water cooled diesel and the cruiser style stern can accommodate the whole crew. At 45 feet she is big enough to ensure comfortable living yet easily handled.
